ASSISTANT IN THE TEACHING STAFF AT DRAWING STUDIO I WITHIN THE CHAIR OF DRAWING OF THE FACULTY OF GRAPHIC ARTS

Skills/Qualifications
Artistic or scientific discipline:Fine Arts and Conservation of Works of Art
Requirements resulting from the Act and the Statute:
- qualifications specified in the Act and the Statute;
- no disciplinary penalty referred to in Article 276(1)(7) and (8) of the aforementioned Act;
- compliance with the requirements referred to in Article 20(1)(1)–(3) of the aforementioned Act.
Specific Requirements
- master’s degree in fine arts or an equivalent degree, awarded upon completion of studies in the field of fine arts;
- documented artistic output in the field of drawing and contemporary drawing practices or interdisciplinary forms of expression;
- teaching experience at higher education level;
- familiarity with traditional and contemporary techniques and means used in drawing practice;
- ability to conduct classes covering issues of observation, composition, anatomy, space, chiaroscuro, expression and interpretation;
- ability to conduct individual and group critiques and to support students in developing their own artistic language;
- ability to work with students with varying levels of technical and artistic preparation;
- familiarity with current developments in contemporary art, with particular emphasis on drawing and its relationship with other media;
- ability to formulate and verify learning outcomes appropriate to education in the field of fine arts and drawing.
Additional advantages:
- experience in conducting classes in study drawing, artistic drawing, anatomy, composition, perspective, chiaroscuro and experimental forms of drawing;
- experience in supervising semester works, individual projects or interdisciplinary realizations;
- strong command of traditional and contemporary drawing techniques, materials and tools used in artistic practice;
- experience in cross‑disciplinary collaboration, in particular at the intersection of drawing, graphic arts, painting, design, multimedia and contemporary artistic practices.
What we offer:indefinite-term 3/4-time employment contract.
