TASKS/ROLE
- conducting experimental research using advanced spectroscopic techniques and developing measurement methods
- publishing research results in reputable scientific journals listed by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education (MNiSW)
- combining scientific research with applied work, including developing practical applications of conducted studies and actively building a network of collaboration with scientific institutions and industry partners
- delivering lectures and laboratory classes in physics at the undergraduate and graduate levels
- popularizing physics among a broad audience
Skills/Qualifications
- PhD in physical sciences
- research profile focused on theoretical, analytical, and computational research in atomic and molecular physics, and collision spectroscopy
- documented scientific achievements confirmed by publications in renowned scientific journals
- excellent interpersonal skills
- fluent communication in English (C1 level)
- very good knowledge of Polish, enabling teaching at undergraduate and graduate level and daily collaboration in a Polish-speaking academic environment
- experience in teaching full-time students in physics or technical physics
- completed long-term postdoctoral fellowship at a renowned research center
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- experience in conducting research projects funded by external sources, in the role of principal investigator or project team member
- participation in international scientific collaboration, evidenced by joint publications, research grants, or research fellowships
- popularization activities in physics or related sciences
- engagement in organizational activities in support of the university or the academic community
- supervision or academic mentoring of undergraduate and graduate students
- work for one of the leading technical universities in Poland
