A person applying for this position must meet the requirements set out in Art. 113 of the Act of July 20, 2018 Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws 2018, pos. 1668, as amended), in the Statute of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW Section VIII)
The candidate is expected to meet the following conditions :
- PhD degree in agricultural sciences in the discipline of food technology and nutrition,
- experience in conducting scientific work in the field of food technology/food chemistry/biotechnology, documented by relevant scientific achievements, including at least 10 publications with the IF index of minimum 30,
- experience in obtaining chemical compounds by biotransformation, including in particular the use of lipolytic enzymes,
- knowledge of enzyme immobilization techniques,
- basic skills in dynamic modeling of enzymes,
- experience in the purification of biocatalysis products (column chromatography, thin layer chromatography),
- experience in the use of spectrophotometric techniques in the assessment of enzyme activity and purification of enzymatic preparations of microbiological origin,
- documented participation in national and international scientific conferences,
- experience in conducting teaching classes at a university in Polish in the field of chemistry,
- good knowledge of English and Polish, enabling to independently write scientific publications, present reports at scientific conferences, conduct classes and conduct research in foreign scientific units,
- a positive opinion of the committee responsible for teaching on the teaching activities conducted, and in the case of persons applying for employment who are not employees of SGGW – a positive opinion of the committee for a scientific presentation at a seminar organised in the unit where the person is applying for employment,
- experience in applying for research projects,
- experience in conducting research project,
- experience in applying for a patent,
- an additional advantage will be a scientific internship at a foreign center.
