Poznan University of Physical Education invites applications for the position of Assistant in the Department of Biological Sciences at the Faculty of Sport Sciences in Gorzów Wielkopolski. The successful candidate will undertake research and teaching activities in the field of physical culture sciences within the Department of Biological Sciences. The position includes teaching, conducting scientific research, and supporting the academic development of the University.
Research and teaching activities will be carried out in the fields of sport sciences, health sciences, medical sciences, and biological sciences.
Research Field Other Education Level Master Degree or equivalent
Skills/Qualifications
- authorship of at least one original scientific publication in a journal with an Impact Factor;
- documented acquisition of a competitive research grant;
- documented acceptance for a scientific internship/research stay abroad lasting at least three months.
Additionally, candidates must demonstrate:
- documented scientific achievements in a discipline related to the University's research profile;
- preparedness for academic teaching and scientific research;
- competence to teach practical classes in anatomy or physiology;
- full public rights and full legal capacity;
- willingness to engage in organisational work and scientific activities of the University;

- application for employment addressed to the HM Rector of the Poznan University of Physical Education;
- copies of diplomas;
- questionnaire on scientific achievements in connection with the application for employment constituting Appendix No. 2 to Resolution No. 151/2019 Senate of the dated October 29, 2019;
- Statement stating that Poznan University of Physical Education will be the primary place of employment in the event of winning the competition;
- Statement of the art. 113 The Law on Higher Education and Science.
Applications will be evaluated by a competition committee appointed in accordance with the University's recruitment regulations. Shortlisted candidates may be invited for an interview.
