The Academy of Zamość (Akademia Zamojska) is looking for a professor in Juridical Sciences (Law)

Skills/Qualifications
I. The candidate should meet the following criteria:
- hold a postdoctoral degree,
- have at least ten years’ teaching experience at academic level,
- have professional experience in the field of law, as well as teaching and research experience in legal studies, with particular emphasis on the origins and functioning of the justice system,
- have practical knowledge of the functioning of the justice system,
- be passionate about teaching, flexible, creative, conscientious and able to work as part of a team.
Specific Requirements
The competition is open to candidates who meet the conditions set out in the Act of 20 July 2018 on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws 2024, item 1571, as amended) in the Statutes of the Zamość Academy and the Rules of Procedure of the Zamość Academy.

II. Applications for the competition should include:
- a letter of application addressed to His Magnificence the Rector of the Zamość Academy,
- documents confirming educational qualifications,
- documents confirming the practical skills and professional experience required for the post covered by the competition,

- a declaration in accordance with Article 113 of the Act of 20 July 2018 on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws 2024, item 1571, as amended): a template for the declaration is attached,
- a consent clause for the processing of personal data: a template is attached.
Selection process
V. Deadline and venue for submission of documents:
Documents must be submitted to the headquarters of the Zamość Academy, ul. Pereca 2, 22-400 Zamość, by 15 September 2026 (the date of receipt by the University shall be decisive). The envelope must be titled: ‘Konkurs na stanowisko profesora uczelni (K/M) w grupie pracowników dydaktycznych Wydziału Nauk Społecznych i Humanistycznych’. The outcome of the competition will be announced by 25 September 2026.
Applications that are incomplete, do not meet the formal requirements, or are submitted after the deadline will not be considered. The Zamość Academy reserves the right to invite selected candidates to an interview. It reserves the right to cancel the competition without giving a reason.
