Requirements

Research Field Engineering » Civil engineering Education Level Master Degree or equivalent

Skills/Qualifications

  • professional title of Master, Master of Science in Engineering, or an equivalent title in Geodesy and Cartography, or a doctoral degree in the field of Engineering and Technology, in the discipline of Civil Engineering, Geodesy and Transport,
  • at least 40 points for publications in journals listed on the ministerial lists with an Impact Factor (IF) for each year of employment as an academic teacher (applicable to candidates with at least three years of employment as an academic teacher at the university or a research institute).
Specific Requirements
  • good command of the English language, both spoken and written, at least at B2 level,
  • fluency in spoken and written Polish (applicable to non-Polish nationals), sufficient for teaching academic classes,
  • experience in the use of AutoCAD, Python, QGIS, ArcGIS software, as well as spatial analyses methods and geodata modeling,
  • at least two years of professional experience in the use of software for the management of geodetic databases,
  • experience in the acquisition, processing and analysis of satellite data, including altimetric and bathymetric data,
  • experience in the acquisition and processing of tide gauge data,
  • scientific achievements or publication activity in the field of spatial analysis, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and satellite altimetry,
  • verified qualifications in project management (AGILE PM, PRINCE
    2),
  • the ability to work as part of a team and personal time-management skills,
  • engagement in academic and teaching development, as well as willingness to continue improving professional qualifications.
