Offer Description

Competition for the position of lecturer in the group of teaching staff in the Department of Geotechnics, Roads and Geodesy at the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Environmental Sciences of the Bialystok University of Technology.

Skills/Qualifications

The candidate should have a master engineer degree in geodesy and cartography with at least a good grade on the higher education diploma . The applicant should have knowledge of English at least at the B2 level or an active knowledge of a polish language sufficient to prepare and conduct teaching classes (foreigners) and experience in surveying and teaching experience.

Candidates entering the competition should submit the following documents:

  • 1) an application addressed to the Rector of Bialystok University of Technology for employment as a lecturer in the group of teaching staff;
  • 2) a personal questionnaire for a person applying for employment with information on the processing of personal data (template available for download on the website (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). in the tab: Work at Bialystok University of Technology
    - Database of forms and documents);
  • 3) a document confirming obtaining the title of master engineer degree of Geodesy and Cartography with at least a good grade on the higher education diploma;
  • 4) a self-report on the scientific, didactic and organizational achievements along with a list publications confirming experience in surveying and teaching experience
  • 5) a declaration of compliance with the requirements specified in Art. 113 and 116 of the Act of July 20, 2018. Law on higher education and science (template available for download on the website  in the tab: Work at Bialystok University of Technology
    - Database of forms and documents);
  • 6) a document confirming the knowledge of the English language at a level of at least B2; a document confirming the knowledge of the Polish language at level enabling the preparation and conduct of teaching classes (foreigners);
  • 7) other documents, materials or information that may be of importance in the competition (f.e. surveying qualifications etc.).

Documents should be delivered till August 31, 2026 at Bialystok University of Technology, Faculty of Civil Engineering and Environmental Sciences,
Dean's Office, room 32, 15-351 Bialystok, Wiejska Street 45E.

Participating in the competition upon employment at the Bialystok University of Technology undertakes to:

  • 1) being in an employment relationship with the Bialystok University of Technology as the primary workplace;
  • 2) include affiliation of the Bialystok University of Technology in their scientific publications.

The university reserves the right to reject the competition without providing a reason. The competition result does not guarantee employment. The final decision regarding employment rests with the Rector of Białystok University of Technology.
