Dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Lublin University of Technology announces open competition for the assistant position at the Department of Computer Science

Documents required:

• written application addressed to the Rector of Lublin University of Technology;
• covering letter;
• CV;
• personal questionnaire of the candidate applying for the employment (see the attached pdf file);
• the diploma copy of graduation from higher education of the first and the second cycle (original documents available for inspection);
• information on activities undertaken during studies;
• information on teaching experience;
• information on scientific-research predisposition (e.g. candidate’s statement or opinion of candidate’s scientific supervisor);
• information on candidate’s professional experience and skills;
• candidate’s statement that Lublin University of Technology will be the place of primary employment (see the attached pdf file);
• information from the National Criminal Register concerning offenses specified in Chapters XIX and XXV, Article 189a, and Article 207 of the Penal Code, as well as the Act of July 29, 2005, on Counteracting Drug Addiction, and in the case of individuals holding citizenship of a country other than the Republic of Poland, information from the criminal register of another country or statements referred to in Article 21(5-7) of the Act of May 13, 2016, on Counteracting the Threats of Sexual Crime and Protecting Minors;
• candidate’s statement that he/she is familiar with the Regulations on Reporting Legal Violations at Lublin University of Technology (see the attached pdf file);

Eligible candidates must meet the conditions specified in Article 113 of the Act “Law on Higher Education and Science” of 20 July 2018 (Journal of Laws of 2024, item 1571, as amended) and in the Statute of Lublin University of Technology.

Selection process

The outcome of the competition does not result in the establishment of an employment relationship. The decision to hire is made by the Rector. Lublin University of Technology reserves the right to close the competition without selecting a candidate and to respond only to selected applications.

In accordance with Order No. R-42/2026 of the Rector of the Lublin University of Technology dated May 14, 2026, the templates for the required attachments are included in this announcement and are available for download.
Three months after the conclusion of the competition procedure, all documents submitted by candidates who were not selected will be removed from our files and destroyed; candidates wishing to retrieve their documents should indicate this in their competition application.
