Dean of the Collegium of Business Administration of the SGH Warsaw School of Economics announces a competition for the position of an assistant
professor in the group research and teaching staff in the Institute of Markets and Competition (Market Analysis Unit).
The competition is addressed to people who meet the conditions set out in the Law on Higher Education and Science of 20 July 2018.
- PhD in the field of social sciences, discipline of economics and finance
- authorship of a scientific publication (monograph or scientific article), apart from that required for obtaining a doctoral degree
- participation in two scientific conferences, including at least one international conference, with a paper
- )knowledge of market analysis, with particular emphasis on real estate, and scientific publications, including at least one for not less than 100 points,
- knowledge of Polish at a native level and English sufficient to conduct teaching and research at a minimum B2 level, confirmed by a certificate,
- presentation of a scientific development plan,
- readiness to take up employment from the beginning of the winter semester of the 2026/2027 academic year.
The successful candidate is expected to commence employment on 1 October 2026 under a fixed-term employment contract for a period of up to 4 years, with the possibility of extension. The university does not provide accommodation. In accordance with the provisions of the Whistle blower Protection Act, candidates are also provided with the opportunity to report irregularities during the recruitment process.
