In accordance with applicable regulations, the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, Institute of Civil and Water Engineering, is seeking a candidate for the position of associate professor. The candidate must hold at least a postdoctoral degree in technical sciences in the discipline of civil engineering, geodesy, and transportation. The candidate's responsibilities will include teaching classes in the field of architectural design and modeling.

Classes will be conducted in Polish.

Skills/Qualifications

• holds at least a postdoctoral degree in art sciences and demonstrates outstanding and internationally recognized scientific achievements in the field of study represented,
• is the author or co-author of scientific articles or scientific monographs that have appeared in journals or publications included in the list applicable for the year of their publication, referred to in § 87, paragraph 1 and 4, and after obtaining the habilitation degree, at least 5 scientific articles or scientific monographs that have been published in journals or publications included in the list applicable for the year of their publication,
• in the last 5 calendar years, has participated in internationally recognized competitions or art exhibitions,
• is or has been a project manager for projects involving research or development work, or the implementation of investments related to education and scientific activities, financed through a competitive procedure by foreign institutions or international organizations, and domestic institutions, or has completed a total of at least eight weeks of documented research internship at a foreign research center in the field of art in architecture or landscape architecture,
• has documented teaching achievements in the field of art in architecture or landscape architecture, or authored textbooks, or managed teaching or educational projects as part of competitions with external research funding institutions,
• has documented achievements in incorporating design elements of art in architecture or landscape architecture landscape,
• has at least a good command of English or another congressional language, sufficient to independently write scientific publications in that language and present reports at scientific conferences,

meets additional requirements, including specific research or organizational goals and tasks, specified in the competition terms and conditions;

Specific Requirements

The position encompasses three main areas: research, teaching, and academic collaboration. The candidate should teach classes in the field of architectural art, modeling, and related subjects. The candidate should also provide guidance to students on how to work in these fields. Classes will be conducted in Polish. The minimum contract period is 210 hours per academic year.
