The position is intended for candidates holding a PhD degree in Social Sciences in the discipline of Political Science and Administration. The successful candidate will conduct research and teaching activities in the field of International Relations, with a particular focus on international security and the policies of Middle Eastern countries, especially the Republic of Türkiye. In addition, involvement in science communication and expert participation in public discourse is expected, including cooperation with media outlets, preparation of analyses and commentaries, and participation in debates concerning international affairs.

Skills/Qualifications

• Documented scientific and teaching achievements in International Relations, particularly involving Middle Eastern foreign policy, international security, Europe–Asia relations, and issues concerning the global international order;
• Documented experience in science communication and dissemination of research results, including cooperation with media, expert commentary, and participation in public debates (media relations);
• in research projects or expert activities;
• Experience teaching in higher education;
• Participation in national and international scientific conferences;
• Experience in teaching, outreach, and organizational activities.

Specific Requirements

• PhD degree in Social Sciences in the discipline of Political Science and Administration;
• Documented scientific achievements in International Relations, particularly in the areas of Middle Eastern foreign policy, international security, Europe–Asia relations, and issues related to the global international order;
• Experience in publishing research results in peer-reviewed scientific journals and academic monographs;
• Documented experience in science communication and dissemination of research findings, including cooperation with media, preparation of expert commentary, and participation in public debates (media relations);
• Experience presenting research results at national and international scientific conferences;
• Teaching experience in higher education, including teaching in English;
• Proficiency in Polish and English sufficient to conduct academic teaching activities;
• Experience in organizational or outreach activities;
• Strong motivation for academic and teaching work.
