The candidate should meet the following requirements:
- hold a doctoral degree (PhD) in technical sciences or in the field of management and quality sciences — preferably in one of the following disciplines/specialisations: automation and robotics, mechatronics, technical/applied computer science, logistics, transport, production engineering, or management — particularly in areas related to automated storage and transportation systems, digital transformation of industrial processes, or intelligent management systems;
- demonstrate professional experience in academic or business environments, particularly in the application of digital technologies and elements of industrial automation;
- have experience in conducting or co-conducting laboratory-based teaching activities;
- possess a track record of scientific achievements confirmed by publications in peer-reviewed Polish and international scientific journals;
- show academic and teaching interests in the areas of industrial logistics, process automation, new technologies within the Industry 5.0 framework, and information systems supporting logistics and production;
- be willing to engage in scientific research in an interdisciplinary context (including publications and participation in research and development projects);
- have proficiency in both Polish and English (spoken and written), sufficient for publishing, teaching, and international collaboration;
- be capable of conducting classes using modern educational technologies;
- show a willingness to develop expertise in technologies related to the concepts of Smart Factory and Smart City, particularly in the areas of: digital twins, IIoT in urban and industrial logistics, automation and autonomy of logistics and production processes, cyber-physical systems, sustainable urban mobility, intelligent transport infrastructure, and the integration of ICT technologies in the management of cities or manufacturing facilities;
- display motivation to contribute to the organisational work of the Department, Faculty, and University related to ongoing research and teaching activities, including a readiness to support the development of laboratory infrastructure for study programmes in logistics, digital modelling and simulation in industry, AI in business, management and production engineering.
