and Electrical Engineering, on behalf of the Rector of Bydgoszcz University of Science and Technology announces a competition

for the position of Assistant (F/M) in the group of teaching staff

automation, electronics, electrical engineering and space technologies

Description (subject, requirements, comments)

The competition concerns taking up the position of Assistant in a group of teaching staff at the Department of Electrical Engineering of the Faculty of Telecommunications, Computer Science and Electrical Engineering as a basic or additional job.

The competition may be entered by persons who meet the requirements specified in Art. 113 of the Act of July 20, 2018 - Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws of 2024, item 1571, as amended).

An Assistant will be responsible for conductingselected teaching classes in the field of auditorium exercises, laboratory exercises and project exercises for at least 360 hours during the academic year for full-time and part-time studies. The fields in which the Assistant will conduct classes are: electrical engineering, automation and electronics.

Subjects (selected from the thematic scope listed below, depending on the candidate's education) that are planned to be entrusted to the employee are related to electronics, automation, power electronics, electrical machines, electric drive, electrical engineering, and power engineering.

It is expected that, in addition to teaching activities, the candidate will also participate in organizational activities in the field of teaching and organization of didactics (e.g. development/preparation of laboratory exercises, laboratory instructions).

An additional advantage will be the candidate's scientific achievements in the field of technical sciences (especially in the disciplines of automation, electronics and electrical engineering).

The candidate is required to meet the following qualification criteria:

- have completed master's studies in technical sciences related to electrical engineering, power engineering, energy, automation, electronics, or related fields,

- have pedagogical preparation or readiness to take a course in pedagogical preparation and predispositions to conduct teaching classes with students,

- in the case of foreigners, knowledge of spoken Polish sufficient to conduct classes with students is required,

- knowledge of English sufficient to conduct classes with foreigners is welcome.

• a statement that Bydgoszcz University of Science and Technology will be the primary/additional
