Candidate for the position of: assistant

Unit: the Department of Mathematical Analysis,the Institute of Computer Science and Mathematics,the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science

Staff Category: research and teaching staff

Requirements:

• master's degree in mathematics
• research and teaching aptitude confirmed by the opinion of an independent research and teaching employee
• documented knowledge of the mathematical foundations of machine learning
• papers presented at scientific conferences and seminars, including international ones
• experience in popularizing mathematics
• documented preparation in computational and IT aspects of data analysis, e.g., Big Data engineering
• knowledge of data analysis tools (Python)
• very good knowledge of the Polish language in speech and writing
• meeting the requirements set forth in the Law on Higher Education and Science (Art. 113) and the UMCS Statutes (§ 79)
