Candidate for the position of: assistant

Unit: the Department of Neuroinformatics and Biomedical Engineering,the Institute of Computer Science and Mathematics,the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science

Staff Category: research and teaching staff

Requirements:

• master's degree in computer science
• research and teaching aptitude confirmed by the opinion of an independent research and teaching employee
• knowledge of signal processing methods for neural and echo machines simulated by biological neural networks
• knowledge of numerical methods and other areas of data science, particularly machine learning applied to modeling, simulation, and processing of biological neuron signals and their extensive networks
• fluent command of English
• very good knowledge of the Polish language in speech and writing
• meeting the requirements set forth in the Law on Higher Education and Science (Art. 113) and the UMCS Statutes (§ 79)
