The Rector of the Academy of Applied Sciences in Elbląg announces a competition for the position of Assistant Professor (Teaching Track) in the group of teaching staff at the K. Brzeski Institute of Applied Informatics, full-time.

Research Field Computer science » Informatics Education Level PhD or equivalent

Skills/Qualifications

Education:

A doctoral degree in mathematics, computer science, automation and robotics, electronics and electrical engineering, or a related discipline is required. A higher education degree in mathematics, computer science, bioinformatics, data analysis, or a related field is also required.

Teaching

Experience:

Teaching experience in higher education is required.

Professional Requirements:

• Competence in teaching courses related to:
  • applied mathematics,
  • statistics and data analysis,
  • probabilistic methods,
  • data mining,
  • fundamentals of machine learning and artificial intelligence.
• Knowledge of IT tools used in data analysis.

Languages POLISH Level Mother Tongue

Languages ENGLISH Level Excellent

Selection process

The deadline for submitting applications is18 August 2026 r.

The competition will be resolved on8 September 2026 r.

Failure to submit complete documents by the above deadline will result in the rejection of the application without a request to supplement any missing documents.

The University offers the possibility of renting an apartment in Elbląg on very favorable terms, supporting a comfortable relocation and start of employment.
