Skills/Qualifications

Requirements:

• aptitude for research and teaching, confirmed by a reference from a senior academic (an established researcher)
• a significant research record
• teaching and organisational experience
• active participation in research activities
• documented expertise, demonstrated through a diploma, publications, and conference presentations, in the history of twentieth-century and contemporary philosophy, particularly German philosophy, with a focus on philosophical anthropology, philosophy of culture, social philosophy, action theory, and theories of rationality
• active involvement in obtaining external funding for research
• good command of English, evidenced by publications and conference presentations; knowledge of German will be a valuable asset
• proficiency in Polish sufficient to teach university courses
• meeting the requirements set forth in the Law on Higher Education and Science (Art. 113) and the UMCS Statutes (§ 79)
