Offer Description

Requirements:

  • a PhD in the social sciences, specialising in economics and finance
  • teaching experience in delivering courses in microeconomics, macroeconomics and the digital economy, including in English and using modern teaching methods (e.g. problem-based learning, design thinking)
  • research output since obtaining the PhD
  • publications in the discipline of economics and finance, including in the areas of innovation, competitiveness and digital transformation (articles, chapters in monographs, monographs)
  • meeting the requirements set forth in the Law on Higher Education and Science (Art. 113) and the UMCS Statutes (§ 79)
Requirements

Research Field Economics Education Level PhD or equivalent

Skills/Qualifications

  • experience in presenting research findings at international conferences in English
  • fluency (spoken and written) in Polish and a foreign language (preferably English at a minimum B2 level)
  • experience in securing funding for research or teaching projects

experience in organisational work and a proven track record of active participation in academic life

  • The results of the competition will be announced by September 11, 2026
