The Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences of the Jan Długosz University in Częstochowa hereby announces an open competition for the position of Assistant (research and teaching staff group) on a 0.5 full-time equivalent (half-time) basis in the Department of Psychology
.
The competition is open to persons who satisfy the requirements specified in Article 113 of the Act of 20 July 2018 –
Law on Higher Education and Science (consolidated text: Journal of Laws of 2024, item 1571, as amended).
The position of Assistant in the group of research and teaching staff may be filled by a person holding at least a Master degree, a Master of Science in Engineering degree, or an equivalent qualification, and possessing scientific or teaching competences relevant to the scientific discipline represented by the candidate and to higher education teaching within the study programme in which the candidate will conduct classes, namely:
- Scientific and teaching competences relevant to the discipline or the field of study.
- In addition, the candidate must simultaneously satisfy the following requirements:
- hold at least a Master degree in Psychology;
- possess scientific and teaching competences relevant to the discipline or the field of study;
- demonstrate achievements in organisational activities, including the organisation of conferences or scientific events significant for the development of the discipline and having social impact;
- have organised or participated in various forms of international scientific cooperation;
- demonstrate a clearly defined area of scientific development;
- preference will be given to candidates who have authored scientific articles published in nationwide academic journals of recognised national importance, including journals indexed in evaluation databases recognised by the ministry responsible for higher education and science;
- additional preference will be given to candidates with a command of the English language documented by appropriate certificates or other relevant documents.
In justified cases, the Rector may consent to reducing the above requirements, taking into account, in particular, the qualifications of the candidate contributing to the development of the represented scientific discipline and necessary for the implementation of the University research and teaching policy.
