• conducting scientific research in the discipline of management and quality science;
• obtaining funding for scientific research;
• publishing research results in peer-reviewed journals and monographs;
• preparation and implementation of research projects;
• performing teaching duties, in particular teaching courses in selected areas of economics, innovation and social capital;
• preparing course documentation, e.g. including syllabi, lesson plans and teaching materials;
• grading students’ assignments and papers, giving them feedback, and archiving these materials;
• supporting students’ development, including holding consultations and engaging them in research activities;
• participating in the thesis-supervision (diploma) process;
• enhancing teaching competences through internal and external training courses;
• engaging in the scientific and organizational life of the Faculty of Management and the Department of Economics, Innovation and Social Capital ;
• organizing and taking part in initiatives run by the University, the Faculty and the Department;
• participating in the organisation of conferences, scientific seminars and other initiatives supporting the scientific and teaching development of the University, the Faculty and the Department;
• maintaining availability and a full commitment to academic work;

Required qualifications:

• PhD in social sciences in one of the following disciplines: management and quality science, economics and finance,
• research interests in the field of management and quality science and/or economics and finance
• scientific publications in the field of management and quality sciences or in selected areas thereof;
• experience of teaching at academic level in the fields of economics, innovation, social capital or related subjects
• command of Polish (spoken & written) at C2 level (for non-Polish nationals confirmed by an appropriate certificate);
• command of English (spoken & written) at minimum B2 level;
• readiness to work on weekends as well;
• strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
• commitment and availability at Lublin University of Technology as the primary place of employment.

• participation in national or international research grants;
• research achievements in the field of economics, management, innovation, social capital or related subjects;
• experience teaching courses in English;
• teaching competences certified by completion certificates or attestations for courses or other training that enhance skills in delivering classes, trainings or workshops;
• professional experience gained outside academia—for example, in business;
• documented organisational activity, including organising scientific or social initiatives at a university, such as scientific seminars or conferences, or meetings with student research groups.
