The Medical University of Silesia in Katowice announces a competition for the position of teaching assistant (M/F) at the Department and Clinic of Pulmonary Diseases and Tuberculosis of the Faculty of Medical Sciences in Zabrze, RP-1115/1/1/22/2026. Deadline for offer submission:
Offers should be submitted by 26.08.2026 at 15:30. The competition is open to persons who meet the requirements of Article 113 of the Act of 20 July 2018. Law on Higher Education and Science.

• license to practice medicine,
• doctoral degree in medical sciences,
• knowledge of issues related to lung diseases,
• specialization in the field of lung diseases or currently pursuing a specialization in the field of lung diseases,
• fluency in English,
• experience in teaching,
• foreign nationals must be proficient in spoken and written Polish.

• II.
• Required documents:
• a written declaration of will to participate in the competition, addressed to the Rector,
• personal questionnaire for the person applying for employment,
• declaration of no criminal record,
• copies of documents confirming education and professional qualifications, in particular: higher education diploma, license to practice medicine, certificate of recognition of a foreign diploma as equivalent to a Polish diploma (if applicable),
• other documents confirming your qualifications (a list of publications with IF scores, ministerial scores, certificates held, etc.)

• Required statements:
• statement of consent to process the personal data,
• a statement declaring that if the applicant wins the competition, the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice will be the primary place of employment , according to the Law on Higher Education and Science,
• statement of:
• having full legal capacity,
• enjoying full public rights,
• not being convicted of an intentional crime or intentional fiscal offence by a valid sentence,
• not being punished with a disciplinary penalty referred to in Article 276(1)(7) and (8) of the Law on Higher Education and Science;
• declaration of no other citizenship than one of the Republic of Poland and no residence in countries other than the Republic of Poland and country of citizenship during the last 20 years, pursuant to art. 21 par. 4 and 5 of the Act on the prevention of sexual violence and protection of the minors.
