ANNOUNCEMENT OF A COMPETITION FOR THE POSITION OF ASSISTANT PROFESSOR (M/F)

(PRE-SCHOOL AND EARLY SCHOOL EDUCATION)

at the Bronisław Markiewicz State University of Applied Sciences in Jarosław

A competition is hereby announced for the position of Assistant Professor (M/F) in the group of teaching staff, on a full-time basis, at the Bronisław Markiewicz State University of Applied Sciences in Jarosław. The competition is open to candidates who meet the requirements specified in the Act of 20 July 2018 - Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws of 2024, item 1571, as amended).

Position description / Scope of responsibilities:

• conducting teaching activities,
• directing the academic choir,
• conducting scientific research,
• preparing and implementing scientific and commercial research grants,
• active participation in the research, teaching and organisational activities of the Department.
• Qualification requirements:
• holding a doctoral degree in the field of arts, in the artistic discipline of musical arts;
• experience in teaching university students in the areas of music education, music education methodology, voice production, or other subjects related to the musical training of future pre-school and early school education teachers;
• professional experience as a teacher at a music school or another institution providing music education for children and young people;
• experience in directing artistic ensembles (academic choir),
• knowledge of the specific nature of teaching pre-school and early school-aged children, with particular emphasis on developing children's musical, vocal, rhythmic, and creative abilities.
