The Rector of the Koszalin University of Technology hereby announces a C O M P E T I T I O N for the position of ASSISTANT at the Department of Design Graphics Faculty of Architecture and Design Koszalin University of Technology in the field of ART, in the discipline of FINE ARTS AND ART CONSERVATION

Eligible candidates must meet the requirements set forth in the Act of July 20, 2018 – Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws 2018, item 1668, as amended), as well as in §50 of the Statute of the Koszalin University of Technology, and must fulfill the following qualification criteria:

• a. hold at least a master’s degree (or equivalent) in the discipline of Fine Arts (Fine Arts and Art Conservation), specializing in Visual Communication,
• b. have predispositions for academic teaching,
• c. have the ability to create design tasks and experience with traditional graphic techniques,
• d. be capable of conducting design topics based on visual rhetoric,
• e. participation in fairs, exhibitions, and social media activities is welcome,
• f. awards or participation in competitions are desirable,
• g. be proficient in graphic design software,
• h. have experience in design work in the fields of graphic design, illustration, and publications,
• i. be familiar with trends and current technologies,
• j. have a communicative command of English (including professional terminology),
• k. be able to work in a team, be engaged, and demonstrate a willingness to develop professionally.

Candidates are requested to submit the following documents:

• An application addressed to the Rector of the Koszalin University of Technology, expressing the intention to participate in the competition for the assistant position,
• Curriculum Vitae (including details of professional experience),
• Copies of diplomas, including the master’s (or equivalent) degree diploma in the aforementioned discipline, and documents confirming relevant experience and professional qualifications,
• A portfolio of design work in electronic format,
• A description of other significant creative and organizational achievements,
• A statement of acceptance of the competition conditions, including a declaration that, in the case of being selected, the Koszalin University of Technology will be the primary place of employment,
• Any additional information (in the form of documents or publications) that may be relevant in assessing the candidate's additional skills for the competition (e.g., certificates, licenses, confirmations),
• Consent to the processing of personal data for recruitment purposes in accordance with the Act of August 29, 1997 on the Protection of Personal Data (Journal of Laws 2002, No. 101, item 926, as amended),
• A certificate from the National Criminal Register concerning offenses defined in Chapters XIX and XXV of the Penal Code, Articles 189a and 207 of the Penal Code, and in the Act of July 29, 2005 on Counteracting Drug Addiction (Journal of Laws 2023, item 172, and 2022, item 2600), or corresponding offenses defined in current legal regulations
• In connection with the recruitment process/entering negotiations to conclude an employment contract at the Koszalin University of Technology, we inform you that the internal reporting procedure introduced by the Order of the Rector of the Koszalin University of Technology No. 59/2024 of September 18, 2024, is in effect.
