The Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences of the Jan Długosz University in Częstochowa hereby announces an open competition for the position of Assistant (Research and Teaching Staff) on a full-time basis in the Department of Psychology
.
The competition is open to persons who meet the requirements set out in Article 113 of the Act of 20 July 2018 – Law on Higher Education and Science (consolidated text: Journal of Laws of 2024, item 1571, as amended).
The position of Assistant in the research and teaching staff group may be held by a person who possesses at least a Master's degree, a Master's degree in Engineering or an equivalent qualification, as well as academic or teaching competencies relevant to the scientific discipline represented by the candidate and to higher education teaching in the field of study in which the successful candidate will conduct classes, namely:
- Academic and teaching competencies relevant to the discipline or field of instruction.
- In addition, the candidate must meet all of the following requirements:
- hold at least a Master's degree in Psychology;
- possess academic or teaching competencies relevant to the discipline or field of instruction;
- demonstrate achievements in organisational activities, including the organisation of conferences or academic events significant for the development of the discipline and having social impact;
- have organised or participated in various forms of international academic cooperation;
- demonstrate a clearly defined area of academic development;
- preference will be given to candidates who have authored scientific articles published in nationally recognised academic journals included in the ministerial evaluation databases maintained by the ministry responsible for higher education and science;
- additional preference will be given to candidates with a command of the English language documented by appropriate certificates or other supporting documents.
In justified cases, the Rector may approve a reduction of the above requirements, taking into account, in particular, the candidate's qualifications contributing to the development of the represented scientific discipline and necessary for the implementation of the University's research and teaching policy.
