The Rector of the Academy of Applied Sciences in Elbląg announces a competition for the position of Lecturer in the group of teaching staff at the K. Brzeski Institute of Applied Informatics, full-time.

Skills/Qualifications

The candidate should hold a Master’s degree in Computer Science and have at least two years of documented professional experience in the IT industry, particularly in the areas of systems administration, IT infrastructure, computer networks, virtualization, server services, or cybersecurity. The candidate is expected to be prepared to deliver lectures, laboratory classes, practical exercises, and project-based classes in the Computer Science degree programme.

The candidate should be able to prepare teaching materials, laboratory instructions, exercise scenarios, and project assignments, as well as reliably verify and assess the learning outcomes achieved by students.

The candidate should have experience in troubleshooting system failures, infrastructure monitoring, data replication, and ensuring high system availability. Knowledge of specialist tools used in the IT industry is required. Experience with cloud platforms and containerization technologies, as well as Cisco CCNA or CCNP certification, will be considered an additional advantage.

A very good command of Polish and the ability to communicate freely in English in technical contexts are required. The candidate should demonstrate strong communication skills, independence, responsibility, good work organization, and a willingness to continuously improve their professional and teaching qualifications. Particular importance is placed on the ability to apply professional experience in the practical education of students.

The competition will be resolved on8 September 2026 r.

Failure to submit complete documents by the above deadline will result in the rejection of the application without a request to supplement any missing documents.

The University offers the possibility of renting an apartment in Elbląg on very favorable terms, supporting a comfortable relocation and start of employment.
