Cracow University of Technology in Krakow ANNOUNCES A COMPETITION FOR THE POSITION OF ASSISTANT (F/M) IN THE GROUP OF RESEARCH AND TEACHING STAFF AT THE CHAIR OF CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT (L-7) AT THE FACULTY OF CIVIL ENGINEERING

Organizational unit:Chair of Construction Management (L-7), Faculty of Civil Engineering
Researcher Profile:R1

  • Master’s degree in Civil Engineering,
  • documented knowledge of English at B2 level,
  • indicated Cracow University of Technology as the primary place of employment,
  • fluency in spoken and written Polish,
  • significant achievements during studies or experience in scientific research, preferably with documented publication record,
  • predisposition to research and teaching,
  • confirmed pedagogical training or a commitment to complete it within the first year of employment
  • Additional requirements:
  • research interests related to construction management,
  • organizational skills and the ability to work in a team,
  • knowledge of the following software:
    Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks Manage, Solibri, Dalux, or similar, preferably verified by relevant certifications,
  • the ability to think analytically and work with data,
  • experience in creating and verifying 3D models, particularly in the context of their use in construction project management (e.g., bill of quantities, cost estimates),
  • a publication record relevant to the evaluation of the academic discipline of civil engineering, transport and geodesy.
  • Scope of tasks performed/job description (responsibilities and entitlements):
  • a) conducting scientific activities,
  • b) publishing the results of research conducted,
  • c) teaching and mentoring students or participating in the education of doctoral students,
  • d) participating in the organizational activities of Cracow University of Technology,
  • f) actively participating in research conducted at the home department.

The detailed scope of duties of an academic teacher employed in a research and teaching position is specified in Appendix No. 5 to the CUT Work Regulations.

4. Description of working conditions, we offer, among other things,

    • fixed components of remuneration in the amount of:
      • base salary ranging from 5900 PLN to 6100 PLN
        • seniority allowance depending on length of service, i.e., from 3% to 20% of base salary
      • variable remuneration components specified in the CUT Employee Remuneration Regulations
