Assistant Professor (F​/M) In The Group Of Research And Teaching Staff

Responsibilities

• Implement the teaching quota as part of the teaching activities in the Department.
• Prepare teaching materials and lesson plans.
• Prepare research funding applications, participate in research and disseminate results.
• Participate in seminars and scientific conferences.
• Improve own professional qualifications and pursue further scientific degrees.
• Actively participate in the organizational work of the Department, Faculty and University.

• Master’s degree in environmental engineering or related engineering sciences.
• Doctoral degree in technical sciences in environmental engineering, mining and energy.
• Scientific achievements in water and wastewater technology with at least four publications in reputable journals in the last two years.
• Experience in planning and conducting research appropriate for the seniority level.
• Predisposition to work in a research team and with students (teaching and supervising theses).
• Good command of English sufficient for teaching.
• Documented, fluent knowledge of Polish (for foreigners).
• Ability to use computer modeling and simulation methods for wastewater treatment plant processes and related environmental engineering systems.
• Experience in applying for research grants.

• Fixed monthly salary ranging from 8,000 PLN to 9,000 PLN.
• Seniority allowance of 3 % to 20 % of base salary.
