Our Faculty of Economics and Sociology is a part of the biggest University in central Poland with a track record of more than 80 international research projects. The University is classified at 14th place in Polish research university ranking and at 15th place regarding number of Horizon Europe project in Poland (among higher educational institution). We seek to develop and we consider providing fresh blood as a good way of doing so. Applying for externally financed post-doc positions is a good way of getting acquainted with each other, but we do not rule out any possibility of prolonging fruitful cooperations. We look for candidates within the fields of:

• economics and economic policies
• econometrics and statistics
• finance
• logistics
• urban studies and regional planning

who are willing to apply for external financing in order to come to Lodz and conduct their research here, for the mutual benefit of their careers and our organisation. We offer an array of over 40 chairs ir departments and our administration will help you in establishing contacts with researchers potentially compatible with your interests.

This hosting offer is aimed at subsequent editions of MSCA as well as Widening (ERA Chairs, ERA Talents, Twinning, etc.) in Horizon Europe, but we are open to applying for other grants as well, such as e.g. the Ulam NAWA Programme ( ).
