The roleThis is a highly visible leadership role with strategic responsibility for Manufacturing Engineering across sites in Eastern Europe & France. The successful candidate will drive automation strategy, industrial engineering standards, CAPEX execution, and manufacturing transformation initiatives while building a strong regional engineering culture.
What you will be responsible for- Leadership and organisational development of Manufacturing Engineering Teams in Eastern Europe & France
- Define manufacturing strategy and automation
- Ensure all safety‑related actions requiring technical solutions are implemented consistently throughout the region in close collaboration with HSE teams
- Control regional CAPEX projects from concept development to successful operational handover
- Enforce best‑practice sharing among manufacturing sites regarding technical solutions, automation concepts, equipment standards, and process improvements
- Ensure time studies are executed according to recognised industrial engineering standards such as REFA and MTM
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of manufacturing master data including BOMs, routings, labour standards, and ERP‑related production data
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related technical field
- Extensive leadership experience in Manufacturing Engineering within an international industrial environment
- Strong background in automation, manufacturing transformation, and industrial digitalisation
- Proven experience leading CAPEX investments and complex cross‑site engineering projects
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering methods, and production systems
- Experience with ERP systems, MES platforms, and manufacturing automation technologies
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities
- Fluent English and Polish language skills; additional French language are advantageous
- Willingness to travel across regional manufacturing sites
