About The Role
In this role, you will contribute to long‑term, high‑impact initiatives in collaboration with a globally recognized industry leader, focused on advancing multi‑fleet management systems and enhancing the performance of outdoor autonomous vehicles. You will operate at the intersection of simulation and real‑world application, using digital twins and advanced modeling techniques to design, optimize, and scale intelligent systems. This environment embraces constant change, encourages experimentation, and values proactive problem‑solving.
Beyond building new capabilities, you’ll also play a key role in retrofitting existing systems with cutting‑edge intelligence, driving tangible impact in deployed technologies.
- Work with digital twins of real‑world systems to analyze and optimize performance
- Lead process modeling and optimization initiatives across robotics and industrial systems
- Design and develop solutions for complex, multidisciplinary robotics environments
- Build both rapid prototypes and scalable, production‑ready solutions
- Test and validate robotic systems in both simulated and real‑world settings
- Design automated robotic systems to improve production efficiency and precision
- Research and apply modern approaches in robotics, including control systems, motion planning, sensing, and decision‑making
- Contribute to the performance optimization of robotic components and industrial processes
- Expertise in C++, Python, or Julia with at least 6 years of experience in software development, including system programming and real‑time systems
- Strong experience in modeling continuous, discrete, and event‑driven systems with proven results
- Proficiency with simulation tools such as Matlab/Simulink, Mathematica, Modelica, Ansys, or OpenFOAM
- Hands‑on experience with physics‑based simulation platforms such as Gazebo, Nvidia Isaac, or V‑REP
- Solid understanding of numerical methods, concurrent programming, and component‑based architecture
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement complex, efficient algorithms
- Knowledge of control theory, estimation methods, and optimization techniques for linear and nonlinear systems
- Experience in robotics system development and deployment
- Strong familiarity with Unix/Linux environments
- Understanding of distributed control systems
- Experience with testing practices, CI/CD pipelines, and system monitoring
- Strong collaboration, communication, and teamwork skills
