Senior Plant Engineer

We’re looking for a Senior Plant Engineer
, for one of our key clients, to oversee the strategic and day‑to‑day management of construction plant and equipment on a major infrastructure project in Krakow. You’ll ensure the plant fleet is safe, compliant, cost‑efficient and fully aligned with project delivery needs.

• Manage owned and hired construction plant, including heavy civils, lifting and specialist equipment
• Maintain plant registers, inspections, certifications and statutory compliance
• Plan mobilisation/demobilisation and ensure plant is serviced and safe to operate
• Lead plant‑related H&S activities, RAMS input, lifting plans and routine audits
• Control plant budgets, forecasting, utilisation reporting and cost‑recovery
• Work closely with project teams, suppliers and hire partners to ensure timely availability and performance

• Experience managing construction plant on heavy civils or major infrastructure projects
• Strong understanding of plant legislation, compliance and safety standards
• Commercial awareness and experience with plant budgets and hire contracts
• Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders in live construction environments
• Knowledge of lifting operations, tunnelling plant or heavy earthworks (desirable)
• Polish language skills are an advantage
