• Role of a product expert within planning and engineering departments with direct cooperation with product development departments
• Intensive collaboration with different production locations, development units and departments
• Independent communication within the VAN/OE matrix organization and at the locations
• Ensuring the smooth, timely and economical processing of the assigned tasks
• Implementation of product and process validation within the projects and series support
• Technical responsibility for the production of prototype and preproduction vehicles in line with requirements
• Use of the diverse tools for increasing the product maturity level of our vehicle portfolio
• Participation and support of the module group organization
• Documentation of the results and presentation in the committees
• Introduction of creative implementation proposals for the engineering area and within the projects
• Assuming functional responsibility in cooperation with other units and in project groups
• Support in departmental development through integration into the process landscape
• Ensuring cost-conscious use of resources
• Optimization of processes in the function
• Regular reporting of work results.

• Completed bachelor/master's degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering
• Professional experience in the metalworking industry/mechanical engineering/vehicle construction
• Good system knowledge of the use of general IT applications
• Confident approach to managers and employees
• Strong team skills and motivation
• Social and methodological skills
• Initiative and independence and openness to change processes
• Pleasure in dealing with people
• Sense of responsibility and a high level of commitment
• Excellent English language skills, basic German as advantage
