We are looking for a Battery Test Engineer to plan, execute, and analyze testing of battery and energy storage systems, with a focus on performance, safety, reliability, and compliance. The role supports the development, validation, and qualification of battery modules, packs, and BESS solutions.
This role is hands‑on and technical, working closely with engineering, product, and technical teams to ensure battery systems meet design and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities- Plan and execute functional, performance, and safety testing of battery systems
- Define test procedures, test cases, and acceptance criteria
- Conduct tests on battery cells, modules, packs, and BESS components
- Collect, analyze, and interpret test data
- Identify, document, and troubleshoot performance or safety issues
- Support validation of battery systems against technical specifications and standards
- Prepare clear test reports and documentation
- Work closely with design, electrical, and system engineers to support improvements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Energy Engineering, or related field
- Strong experience with test procedures, validation methods, and documentation
- Hands‑on experience with test equipment and measurement tools
- Proven experience in battery testing or energy storage systems
- Solid understanding of battery behavior and performance characteristics, charging/discharging cycles, thermal and safety considerations
- Ability to analyze test results and translate them into engineering feedback
- Ability to work with technical specifications and system requirements
- High attention to detail and structured approach to testing
