As a Senior Accountant at Danfoss
, you will ensure accurate, compliant financial reporting for European entities, directly supporting business decisions and building trust in our financial data. Your work has a clear impact on how we operate and grow across international markets.

By delivering high-quality results and improving processes, you will help strengthen our Record-to-Report (R2R) operations and contribute to a culture focused on clarity, teamwork, and progress.

• Deliver statutory and group financial reporting for assigned European entities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely results.
• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing
  , providing reliable financial data and clear insights into performance.
• Review and manage general ledger activities
  , including journal entries, reconciliations, and balance sheet & P&L analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R2R, AP, AR) and local finance partners to ensure alignment and data consistency.
• Drive process improvements and standardization
  , increasing efficiency, data quality, and automation across reporting activities.

• 2+ years of experience in R2R or general ledger accounting, including financial or statutory reporting.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and/or local GAAP
  , with understanding of financial close processes in a multinational environment.
• Basic knowledge of corporate income tax and motivation to further develop in this area.
• Experience with financial analysis, reconciliations, and accounting systems/tools such that practical knowledge of SAP/other integrated software, advanced Excel skills;
  Business Intelligence, HFM would be beneficiary.
• Clear communication skills in English and a problem-solving mindset to work effectively in a dynamic setting.
