Location: Town of Poland

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and prepare key Control Reports, Portfolio Monitoring Reports, KRI/KPI metrics, and presentations for WCM Portfolio and Product Managers
  • Work with Underwriting, Technology, Operations, Risk Management, Data Governance, Finance, Regulatory Reporting, and Business Risk & Control teams to develop, implement, and execute reporting requirements
  • Coordinate data validations, aggregate information for regulatory reporting, data quality, ad-hoc requests; investigate and resolve data issues
  • Coordinate data requests for internal and external audits, regulatory examinations, and data tracing exercises in conjunction with multiple stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to streamline and standardize reporting, optimize controls and efficiency
  • Manage End User Computing (EUC) inventory and complete all required testing through EUC retirement
  • Work with Technology and Infrastructure teams on automation, system enhancements, UAT, and complex dashboards using BI tools
  • Lead and participate in strategic projects, working groups, and forums, and represent WCS on reporting matters
  • Contribute to the creation of new procedures, standards, controls, and regulatory protocols, and ensure processes and documentation are properly maintained

Key requirements:
  • Expert track record in constructing insightful reports, dashboards, and key metrics for senior management using advanced Excel and BI tools; seasoned experience working with large, complex data sets and databases/data warehouses managed by IT.
  • Experience leading strategic projects such as remediation efforts and regulatory related initiatives in a large financial institution.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with senior management across lines of business and cross-functional groups; strong influencing skills, adaptable to changing priorities.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities including ability to identify issues and propose solutions.
  • Strong multi-tasking, organizational and time management skills; experience following up with various stakeholders and execution teams.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Statistics, or related quantitative field.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, programming languages used in data analysis (Python and SQL).
Nice to have:
  • Knowledge of lending products and credit risk concepts.
  • Knowledge of statistical software tools and data analytics platforms (SAS, Alteryx).
  • Understanding of data governance processes, lending rules, and regulations.
