German-speaking Senior Finance & Accounting Specialist

Workster is excited to support our global client in searching for a motivated Dutch-speaking Junior Finance & Accounting Specialist to join an international finance team. • Process financial transactions, invoices, and expense reports with a high level of accuracy.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable duties to ensure timely payments and collections.
• Perform bank reconciliations and help with preparing monthly/quarterly financial statements.
• Support the preparation of tax returns, VAT declarations, and other regulatory finance documents in compliance with Dutch legislation.
• Work closely with the finance team to support audits, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
• Respond to internal and external financial queries professionally—in both Dutch and English.
• Assist in the continuous improvement of accounting processes and internal controls.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information and adhere to GDPR and company compliance standards at all times.

• Fluent Dutch (C1+) and proficient English (B2+), both written and verbal.
• Degree (or ongoing studies) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Keen interest in finance and accounting, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organisational and analytical skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with MS Office (especially Excel); previous use of accounting software is an advantage.
• A team player with strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem solving.
• Driven to learn, adaptable to change, and eager to start or continue a career in finance within a global company.
