Job description Junior Financial Analyst
Are you at the beginning of your career and looking to grow in an international environment? We are looking for a Junior Financial Analyst to join our team and support financial analysis and value recovery projects across retail and industrial sectors.
What You'll Do- Analyze purchasing, financial, and operational data from multiple sources.
- Review contracts, commercial agreements, purchase orders, invoices, and financial records to identify revenue leakage opportunities.
- Support financial analysis by identifying discrepancies and validating commercial calculations.
- Investigate financial recovery opportunities across client and supplier data.
- Communicate with vendors regarding claim processes and follow up on recovery actions.
- Prepare reports, present findings, and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams in an international environment.
- 6 months to 1 year of professional experience in Accounting, Finance, Financial Analysis, or related fields.
- Hands-on experience as an Accountant is required.
- Exposure to financial analysis or financial reporting.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Good understanding of finance and accounting principles.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Fluent English and Turkish.
- Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Curious and eager to learn in a fast-paced international environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical thinking.
- Comfortable working with financial data and communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Motivated to build a career in finance and business analysis.
