This role offers
10-hour shifts (7 AM–5:30 PM or 10 AM–8:30 PM) with weekends required - but no holidays - giving you a predictable schedule and work-life balance.
You’ll assist technologists in performing imaging procedures, support patient preparation, and ensure smooth workflow in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities- Transport patients safely to and from imaging units.
- Verify patient identity using two identifiers and review physician orders.
- Prepare patients for exams and provide clear pre- and post-procedure education.
- Assist technologists with patient care and procedural workflows.
- Set up invasive procedure trays and courier specimens to the lab as needed.
- Practice MRI and radiation safety protocols consistently.
- Schedule and reschedule exams accurately in RIS; contact patients for updates.
- Document patient history and procedural details in electronic records.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked work environment.
- Adapt to changing priorities while working efficiently across multiple systems.
- Completion of High school diploma or equivalent.
- Requires Clerical and computer experience.
- Requires Communication and interpersonal skills.
CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
