• Setting: Hospital – Respiratory Therapy Unit (hospital respiratory therapist)
• Assignment Type: Travel Contract (13-week travel respiratory therapist assignment)

• End Date: June 21, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shifts: 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week); high need for night shift / overnight respiratory therapist
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1630–$1750/week

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience in a hospital setting (acute care / critical care experience preferred)
• Current state licensure or eligibility as a Respiratory Therapist in New York
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or equivalent)
• Ability to work variable 12-hour shifts, including nights
• Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical decision-making skills

• Provide comprehensive respiratory therapy services and life support to patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies
• Administer prescribed therapeutic and diagnostic procedures, including oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, airway management, and ventilator management
• Manage mechanical ventilation, assist with ventilator weaning under physician direction, and monitor ventilated patients
• Assess patient responses, document clinical assessments, and adjust treatments per protocols and physician orders
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams to deliver high-quality patient care
• Provide respiratory care across all age groups and patient service areas within the hospital
