Data Scientist – AI Risk

We are looking for a Data Scientist who is adept at communicating complex ideas and passionate about applying their expertise to enhance risk assessment and regulatory compliance. You will be a key player in developing models that ensure transaction security and support critical business decisions.

As a Data Scientist in the AI Risk & Compliance Models Team, you will manage the entire lifecycle of predictive and decision‑making models. Your work will directly support risk assessment and regulatory compliance processes, including credit scoring and fraud detection. Your models will be crucial for guiding business decisions in risk management and transaction security.

• Design, build, and deploy machine learning models, with a special focus on customer credit scoring models.
• Build various online and offline models, including classification, regression, and segmentation.
• Utilize a variety of machine learning models such as boosting, deep learning, and recommendation engines.
• Perform exploratory analysis to recommend courses of action to business stakeholders and translate business requirements into Data Science solutions.
• Process large datasets in Snowflake and AWS, while also monitoring and optimizing existing Data Science solutions.
• Independently lead analytical projects, deploy solutions to production, and share your expert knowledge with the Data Science team.

• Experience:
  • At least 2 years of experience in building and product ionizing machine learning models in the financial services sector (e.g., credit risk, fraud detection).
  • Experience in building and product ionizing models based on natural language processing (NLP).
• Language:
  • Polish
• Tool Pro:
  • Expert knowledge of modeling techniques used in the risk area.
  • Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and methods (e.g., Cat Boost, XGBoost, Light
    
    GBM, scikit-learn, Keras, Tensor Flow, PyTorch).
  • Programming skills in Python and knowledge of tools like Git.
  • Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases and the SQL query language.
  • Ability to process large volumes of data.
  • Experience with cloud solutions, particularly AWS and Snowflake.
• Soft Skills:
  • Ability to clearly communicate with business areas.
  • Ability to transfer and explain your knowledge to different audiences.
