Data Platform Engineer

We’re looking for a Senior Data Platform Engineer to support a globally recognized platform in the travel sector.

The role requires availability until 9:00 PM 2‑3 days per week due to meetings with the US team.

• Design, build, and operate high‑reliability data pipelines using Apache Airflow and Extract‑Transform‑Load (ETL) best practices.
• Implement and maintain data pipelines
• Develop clean, maintainable code in Python (and/or similar languages) for data processing, tooling.
• Lead and participate in incident management, including troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, and driving corrective and preventive actions.
• Proactively improve operational excellence through automation, runbooks, reliability reviews, and technical operations analysis in production environments.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for data and platform services.
• Basic experience with engineering and maintain observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch‑Logstash‑Kibana) including metrics, logging, tracing, and health checks.

• 8+ years of software engineering experience

• Work with event streaming platforms to support real‑time data and observability use cases.
• Security domain knowledge.
• Develop and review infrastructure‑as‑code using Terraform in a cloud‑native environment (primarily AWS), leveraging AI‑assisted coding tools.
