Contract Details- Freelance cooperation
- Start date:
ASAP/01.07.2026 - Duration: until 31.10.2026, with the possibility of extension for an additional 6-12 months
- Hands-on production experience with Open Stack, particularly Cinder and Nova.
- Strong programming skills in Python and/or Go.
- In-depth knowledge of Linux systems administration and cloud infrastructure.
- Experience with Kubernetes in production environments.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, build management, and release processes.
- Experience with root cause analysis and troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues.
- Prior involvement in Open Stack upstream development is a plus.
- Good command of English. German is a plus.
- Experienced in using AI tools in day-to-day workflow
- Develop and maintain Open Stack Cinder block storage services.
- Develop and maintain Open Stack Nova compute services.
- Build and maintain automation workflows using Python and/or Go.
- Operate and administer Linux-based cloud infrastructure.
- Contribute patches and improvements to Open Stack upstream projects.
- Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing within the team.
