This exciting, fast-paced internal-facing role requires an excellent communicator with the ability to use their own initiative. The successful candidate will join our IT Asset Team, which is part of RWS’s Global IT Team. This team manages software and hardware assets for 10.000+ end users across 48 countries. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated with an excellent customer-focused, methodical approach and commitment to service delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Administration, purchasing, and consolidation of IT assets (9000 EUC and 200 Servers).
- Management of support and maintenance contracts (around 100 contracts).
- Utilization of asset management tools (such as SCCM, Flex Net Manager, Lansweeper) to provide asset and license reports to the various IT teams upon request.
- Checking purchase compliance and accuracy check, along with input data accuracy, payment terms, and other supporting documents.
- Manage Service Centre tickets to ensure all cases are dealt with on time; end user support may be provided face to face, via phone, email, or Teams (around 600 tickets per month/team).
- Handling Purchase requisitions and approving orders for materials and services in related purchasing systems.
- Managing and maintaining IT assets register.
- Regular interaction with vendors/suppliers.
- Negotiating contracts with publishers and vendors.
- Managing licenses, subscriptions, and hardware database and controlling of distribution process.
- Conducting physical inventories.
- Developing policies regarding software/hardware usage across organization.
- Work with the various departments to ensure consistent methods for software and hardware approval and deployment.
- Excellent customer-focused approach and commitment to service delivery.
- Knowledge and understanding of licensing solutions.
- Very good analytical skills, including advanced MS Excel experience
- Proactive and can-do attitude
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to follow departmental and project-specific processes.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Keen interest in technology.
- Advanced level of competency in Excel for producing advanced reports, pivot tables etc.
- Working knowledge of procurement processes.
- Logical and methodical approach to working.
- Ability to negotiate with and influence staff at all levels.
- Knowledge of Flexera solutions/SAM tools
- Procurement experience, working with vendors and suppliers.
- Good exposure to PO inance systems.
- Knowledge of DELL’s products (workstations, servers, peripherals).
- Basic knowledge of SCCM and Lansweeper.
- Knowledge of Service Center solution
