The Procurement Analytics Expert is part of the Procurement D&T (IT) team and is one of the professionals who deliver a potentially releasable increment of the product at the end of each sprint. Teams within D&T Procurement are structured and empowered by the organization to organize and manage their own work. The resulting synergy optimizes the team’s overall efficiency and effectiveness.
The Procurement Analytics Expert supports Product Owners and customers in translating architecture and requirements into functional Procurement solutions and participates in the technical development of the product, with a focus on building and reviewing data modelling, analysing and reporting, with the support of Power
BI developers, and collaboration with Architects. Close collaboration with Product teams, incl. partners and OpCos is required to design, build and oversight initiatives in the procurement area.
- Working with the Product Owner and other key Global and other stakeholders to understand, elicit, analyse, document and communicate business, program and platform/application requirements
- Formulate the architecture and design based on functional and non‑functional requirements, balancing the goals and constraints on the solution, including overall architectural standards (Domain, Enterprise)
- Working with teams and stakeholders to deliver incremental product enhancements within the target timescales and quality standards that minimize rework and aspire a zero‑defect culture
- Understanding business requirements and acceptance criteria in the form of user stories, assess the complexity of these and translate into implementable solutions and configurations
- Designing and developing solutions or keeping oversight on developers (internal and external) to assure technical quality and overall HEINEKEN standards are met
- Demonstrating product features during sprint reviews to stakeholders
- Being self‑organising with other team members. There is no separate management layer at Heineken, as the work is planned and executed by the team
- Your key stakeholders will be:
Product Owner, Stream Leads, Procurement Enablement, Business Analysts, HUBs, Developers and Operating Companies’ representatives
- At least 5 years’ experience in IT with a similar scope of responsibilities
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and in writing); ability to communicate well with technical and non‑technical people and identify and understand multiple stakeholders’ perspectives and “truths”
- Experience in delivering large‑scale Procurement solutions and tools
- Experience in integrations between technologies
- Expert knowledge in Analytics Solutions such as Power BI and Procurement platforms
- Have an open mind to understand and build on the views of others
- Ability to work in teams and work dedicated for a team
- Ability to understand Business requirements and translate these into technology solutions
- SAP Procurement certification
- AI Technologies Certifications
- Azure Technologies Certifications
- Experience in a similar role
- Experience in IT reporting and tool development areas
- Experience in working in a multi‑cultural environment with a mixture of internal and vendor resources
- Experience in guiding more junior team members and / or driving development activities
