Senior Business Analyst; Market Data

Project description

Our client is a leading global Financial market data provider who runs a number of change programs to deliver high-quality software that connects Financial Markets across the globe in a real-time, high-frequency, and low-latency data management chain. The projects are technically challenging in an environment that is very engaging. We are looking for Business Analyst with experience in testing backend systems and services running under Linux, AWS, Azure and Windows, with capabilities to collaborate in a team-focused environment and coordinate work with QA, Dev, Operational, and cross-functional application teams.

• Develop clear and understandable functional specifications.
• Organize complex requirements into epics and stories within Jira.
• Document workflows and use cases as needed.
• Facilitate and contribute to technical discussions.
• Support development through handover, query resolution, and delivery oversight.
• Assist QA with handover, query resolution, and defect management.
• Manage the Jira backlog.
• Work with the project team to identify upstream dependencies and required efforts to realize product requirements.
• Define requirements for backend and content teams when necessary, focusing on real-time exchange connectors, data quality, and market data.

• The role requires a solid foundation in computer science or a related discipline, supported by substantial experience in business analysis within trading or financial services.
• Expertise in Market Data is essential, ensuring informed decision-making and effective stakeholder engagement.
