Position:
Agile Coach

As an Agile Coach, you will be responsible for adopting and sustaining Agile principles and practices into our Engineering teams. The ideal candidate is a servant leader experienced in effective communication, and a change agent who can foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration and supporting building high performing teams across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Agile Adoption:
    Collaborate with Engineering and Product to deepen their understanding of Agile principles and practices, building on existing implementations.
  • Team Enablement:
    Work closely with Team Leads, Product Managers, and development teams to enhance Agile maturity and effectiveness in day-to-day operations.
  • Agile process governance:
    Develop and maintain Agile governance, and knowledge base at organization level.
  • Identify Gaps & Opportunities:
    Assess current Agile practices across teams, identify areas for improvement, and develop actionable strategies to address them.
  • Customized

    Coaching:

    Provide tailored coaching and mentoring based on each team’s Agile maturity level, challenges, and goals.
  • Change Management:
    Act as a change agent to promote Agile values and mindset throughout the organization.
  • Training & Workshops:
    Design and deliver targeted Agile training sessions to the teams to support ongoing learning and development.
  • Metrics & Reporting:
    Collaborate closely with Head of Engineering Operations in defining Agile metrics to monitor progress of the teams and improve predictability.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Have 5+ years of experience in Agile environments, with at least 2 years in a coaching or leadership role.
  • Strong understanding and proficiency in Agile frameworks.
  • Professional Scrum Master II (PSM II) or equivalent certification.
  • Strong facilitation, mentoring and coaching skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Experience managing Jira and working with other Agile tools (Confluence, Figma, etc.).
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote environment.
  • Passion for the maritime industry or willingness to learn about it.
  • Experience in scaling Agile in large, complex environments.
  • Background in software development or project management.
  • Strong organizational change management skills.
  • Agile Leadership, Product Ownership, Kanban method Certifications.
