We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Director of Data Analytics to lead our data analytics initiatives with a strong focus on Business Intelligence (BI), PowerBI, Microsoft Fabric, DAX, Google Looker and Redshift.
Responsibilities- Lead and oversee the design, development, and deployment of BI solutions using PowerBI, Microsoft Fabric, Google Looker, and Redshift.
- Drive the creation and optimization of complex data models, reports, and dashboards leveraging DAX and other relevant technologies.
- Develop and implement data analytics strategies that align with business objectives and support data‑driven decision‑making across the organization.
- Manage and mentor a high‑performing analytics team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with Product, Finance, Marketing, and Operations to understand data needs and deliver tailored analytics solutions.
- Establish best practices for data governance, quality, and security in analytics processes.
- Monitor and evaluate emerging BI and analytics technologies to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of data innovation.
- Communicate complex data insights and analytics findings to executive leadership and stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
- Oversee the integration of data from multiple sources to create unified, comprehensive analytics platforms.
- Drive initiatives to improve data literacy and analytics adoption across the organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in data analytics, BI, or related roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
- Extensive hands‑on experience with PowerBI, including advanced proficiency in DAX.
- Understanding of Google Looker and Redshift.
- Proven track record of leading successful BI and analytics projects in complex, data‑driven environments.
- Deep understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience building and scaling analytics teams.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with a focus on delivering business value.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts for non‑technical audiences.
- Experience with SQL, Python, R, or other data analysis tools is a plus.
- Knowledge of cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and modern data architecture is desirable.
- Ability to be onsite in Kraków once per month after starting and attend final in‑person interview during the hiring process.
