IT Senior Project Manager – Billing, Pricing & Products

The role

We are seeking an experienced IT Senior Project Manager to lead technology change across IWG core systems, with a particular focus on our Billing Platform and the capabilities that support Billing, Pricing and the Product Repository. The role will partner closely with Billing, Product and Pricing teams to shape business demand into well‑defined, governed and executable IT initiatives.

The Senior IT Project Manager will be accountable for the end‑to‑end delivery of complex projects, from business case and scope definition through planning, governance, delivery, deployment and transition to BAU. The role requires strong project leadership, business acumen, stakeholder management and the ability to operate effectively across global, matrixed teams, internal technology functions and third‑party partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage IT projects across our Billing Platform and related core system capabilities, with emphasis on Billing, Pricing and Product Repository change.
  • Partner with Billing, Product and Pricing stakeholders to understand business needs, clarify outcomes and translate demand into structured project scope, plans and delivery roadmaps.
  • Own end‑to‑end project delivery, ensuring initiatives are delivered to agreed scope, schedule, cost, quality and business value expectations.
  • Define project initiation documentation, delivery approach, milestones, governance, financial assumptions, risks, dependencies and acceptance criteria.
  • Manage cross‑functional delivery teams across business, product, architecture, development, testing, operations, support and third‑party partners.
  • Coordinate priorities and dependencies across the Billing Platform roadmap and adjacent systems, ensuring delivery is aligned with strategic business objectives and operational readiness.
  • Maintain integrated delivery plans, including milestones, critical path, dependencies, resource demand, release planning and deployment activities.
  • Operate strong project controls, including RAID management, change control, decision logs, status reporting, escalation and corrective action planning.
  • Produce clear, fact‑based updates for senior stakeholders, PMO and governance forums, including RAG status, key risks, issues, decisions required and impact assessments.
  • Facilitate trade‑off discussions where scope, cost, schedule, quality or business priority conflicts arise, ensuring decisions are evidence‑based and clearly documented.
  • Ensure business readiness, training, communications, support model definition and operational handover are embedded into delivery plans.
  • Drive transition to BAU, confirming support ownership, handover documentation, release notes, knowledge transfer and closure criteria are agreed and completed.
  • Build trusted relationships with internal clients and act as a credible technology delivery partner for Billing, Product and Pricing teams.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience
  • 8+ years of relevant IT project management experience, including delivery of complex enterprise technology change in global or multi‑country organisations.
  • Strong experience managing business‑critical core systems, ideally involving billing, pricing, product catalogue, product repository, finance or order‑to‑cash processes.
  • Proven ability to lead end‑to‑end delivery through formal lifecycle stages from initiation and planning through deployment and transition to BAU.
  • Strong understanding of project governance, PMO standards, financial controls, risk management, change control and executive reporting.
  • Experience working with business product owners and senior stakeholders to shape roadmaps, define MVPs, prioritise delivery and manage competing demands.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage finance, commercial, product, pricing, technical and operational teams.
  • Ability to bridge business and technology, translating complex technical and process topics into clear, outcome‑focused language for non‑technical stakeholders.
