Workday HCM Consultant

Overview

We are looking for a Workday Consultant (Senior Associate) who will implement and configure enterprise‑scale Workday solutions for our global customers. The role requires working independently and confidently to manage your own workload, understanding customer requirements, designing and delivering aligned solutions, and supporting junior team members.

As a Workday Consultant you will:

• Implement and configure Workday solutions at enterprise scale for a global customer base.
• Understand customer requirements and design solutions that meet their needs.
• Support more junior members of the team and share knowledge.
• Manage your own workload, plan tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Apply relevant standards and procedures to maintain high quality, accuracy and attention to detail.
• Maintain confidentiality, comply with security policies, and support company strategy.
• Assist in improving tools and processes for the practice.

• Very good understanding of Workday products (HCM and any specialist capability).
• Fluent in German and English.
• Strong customer focus and experience in a customer‑facing consulting environment.
• Excellent communication skills, credibility and empathy, including in remote settings.
• Commercial awareness and solid understanding of project and business dynamics.
• Ability to work independently within remote teams and with customers.
• Capacity to plan workload and meet deadlines.
• Consulting skills such as presenting, workshop participation, and explaining functionality.
• Attention to detail, accuracy and high quality standards.
• Awareness of confidentiality, non‑disclosure agreements and information security.
• Understanding of company strategy and willingness to support it.
• Willingness to learn in depth about relevant subject matter (e.g., regulatory requirements).
• Availability to travel to customer sites within the region (minimal out‑of‑region travel may be required).

• Workday HCM, Financials or Payroll Certification.
