Business Intelligence Architect

Only Poland-based candidates who can occasionally visit the client site in Poland will be considered.

We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence (BI) Architect to lead the design, development, and optimization of enterprise BI solutions that enable data-driven decision‑making. The successful candidate will be responsible for architecting scalable data platforms, designing data models and data marts, reviewing complex codebases, and delivering high‑quality reporting and analytics solutions.

This role requires deep expertise in SQL, BI tools (Looker, Power BI, Tableau), data architecture, data pipelines, code reviews, and solution design
, along with the ability to mentor technical teams and drive best practices across the organization.

• Design and implement scalable Business Intelligence and analytics solutions
• Lead end-to-end solution architecture from requirements gathering through deployment
• Develop data architectures that support reporting, analytics, and business decision‑making
• Define and maintain enterprise data models, data marts, and analytical frameworks
• Design and develop robust data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes
• Build and optimize SQL scripts, data transformations, and data integration workflows
• Design and maintain data warehouses and reporting layers
• Ensure data quality, consistency, scalability, and performance across platforms

• Transform complex datasets into meaningful business insights
• Design and develop executive dashboards and reporting solutions
• Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy
• Deliver actionable insights through visualization and analytical reporting

• Review and approve SQL, YAML, and reporting code developed by technical teams
• Evaluate code quality, performance, maintainability, and adherence to best practices
• Support technical teams in reviewing complex codebases and troubleshooting issues
• Lead optimization initiatives for existing pipelines, reports, and data solutions

• Review and improve access control architecture and data governance frameworks
• Identify technical debt and recommend improvements to enhance scalability and maintainability
• Ensure compliance with enterprise standards, security requirements, and governance policies
• Review code change logs and implementation plans before production deployment

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, engineers, and leadership teams
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and reporting frameworks
• Present insights and recommendations to leadership and decision-makers
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for BI architecture and data solutions

• 10+ years of experience with BI platforms such as Looker, Power BI, Tableau
• Expertise in dashboard design, reporting automation, and data visualization
• Strong understanding of analytical modeling and business reporting

• 12+ years of experience writing and optimizing complex SQL queries
